The Intermediate garden contains culinary, aromatic, and medicinal herbs grown in several garden beds. At one point the garden featured a plastic bottle vertical gardening space. A row of witch hazel seedlings has recently been added to the garden. A dye garden is also being planned. Intermediate gardeners also oversee hoop house maintenance and use.
Garden caretakers include Intermediate teachers and their students.
